FAQ
How do I stop things falling out of my caravan cupboards? Cupboards get jolted on rough roads, so items slide forward and fall out when you open the door. A cupboard rod like Rod sits across the front of the shelf and acts as a barrier, so everything stays in place while you drive.
Do I need to drill holes to install Rod? No. Rod adjusts to the width of your cupboard and holds in place by tension, so there are no screws or holes in your van.
What size cupboard does Rod fit? Rod fits openings from 40 to 70cm. For wider cupboards and fridges, choose Rod 50–90cm. For small bathroom and spice cupboards, choose Rod Mini (30–50cm).
Can I use Rod in my caravan fridge? Yes. Rod stops bottles and containers sliding forward in the fridge, so nothing falls out when you open the door after a drive.
Will Rod stay in place on corrugated roads? To ensure Rod stays in place tighten before driving on corrugation. The length of driving in these conditions may change the outcome but Rod should withstand corrugation.
How many Rods do I need? Rod isn't require for every cupboard, but if you have glassware, water bottles or food we 10/10 recommend him for these areas.

Hey Tony, sounds like you might be better off with our 50-90cm rod. If you would like to return your current ones in exchange for the bigger size please email us at info@touringessentials.com.
